Locking card (buckles) are usedon larger adapter sleeves or lock nuts, engaged on bushing slots and nuts forhex screw fixing to prevent loosening, or engaged on slotted shafts and nutswith hex screws prevent loosening. The inch system uses a locking piece, theteeth of which engage on a bushing or a slotted shaft and are secured with twohex screws to prevent it from loosening.
